These are blog posts from everyone:
North Georgia has been parched again this Summer. The Spring rainfall was enough to carry us out of our years-long drought but not enough to make for a banner year in Southern Appalachian mycology. We have actually gotten rain for perhaps four out of the last five days. The chances for a decent harvest are good. I will hopefully put a bunch of amazing pictures up when I get back. Update: the trip to the mountain was a lot of fun but mycologically somewhat disappointing. We saw a few big mushrooms that I was unable to identify and will put some cool pictures up. But, of course we were hoping for dozens of pounds of huge chanterelles.
